Dates include the 50th anniversary of Disney World which is October 1st, 2021. 

There’s a lot to know due to changes at Disney World.

#1: Get the best availability and your choice of resort

2021 will be huge at Disney World due to several factors, so availability at Disney resorts may be more limited than in years past.

First, many people have rescheduled their 2020 vacations to this year.

2021 is the also the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World and there are MANY special events planned!

Galaxy’s Edge is still new to many people and there will be a surge of interest in visiting this land as well once the parks reopen. 

It’s a great idea to book as soon as possible to get the best availability and your pick of resorts for Disney World packages 2021.

Right now you can book at all Disney World Resorts through the end 2021 with the exception of the following: 

• All-Star Music & Sports
• Wilderness Lodge (DVC villas are available however)
• Port Orleans Resorts

Here’s what else you need to know about booking a 2021 package at this point:

• Dining Plans aren’t currently available but are expected later
• Magic Bands are no longer included for free
• Park Hopper tickets are available
• Air travel through Disney isn’t available at this point
• You will have first dibs on Disney World theme park reservations!

#2: You only have to pay a $200 deposit

Making a Disney World basic package reservation only requires a $200 deposit which is totally refundable up to 30 days before your trip.

There are no change or cancellation charges on a Disney World package up to 30 days before check-in. 

When you book your room and tickets separately, you’ll often have to pay for everything up front at the time of purchase.

And you usually have to pay for the first night’s stay in full, which can be well over $200. 

#3: You can set up a Payment Plan on your Disney World Packages 2021

Some other advantages of booking your 2021 Disney World vacation now is that it gives you longer to save for and pay towards your vacation.
