Disney World Packages 2020: Four Reasons to Book NOW!

I’ve already had many readers ask when they should book their trips for next year, so I’m excited to share that Disney World packages 2020 can be booked starting TODAY, June 18th, 2019!

Read on to get the details on four reasons you should book your 2020 Disney World vacation now.

1) Avoid any ticket price increases

chart of Disney ticket prices - book your Disney World packages 2020 nowDisney always increases its ticket prices yearly, most often early in the year. If you book your package now, you will lock in the current ticket prices.

Last year, the ticket increase was quite high for some trips as Disney moved to a date-based prices for multi-day tickets. Avoid any future ticket price increases by booking as soon as you know what dates you’d like to visit.

I highly recommend booking any package with our expert Disney travel agent Siera with Destinations in Florida. She can handle all of the details of your trip at NO additional cost – you can get a free quote from her here

Siera can book your dining reservations, FastPasses, and Magical Express transfers if needed. Or you can do it yourself and have someone always available to answer any questions you have.

2) You’ll only have to pay a $200 deposit

Making a Disney World package reservation only requires a $200 deposit which is totally refundable up to 30 days before your trip. You’ll have lots of time to set money aside and accumulate discounted Disney gift cards to pay off the balance on your trip!

When you book your room and tickets separately, you’ll often have to pay for everything up front at the time of purchase. You’ll get much more time to set money aside and save for your trip when you book a Disney World package.

3) Get the best availability and your choice of resorts

Disney’s Beach Club will book quickly

Next year will be huge at Disney World thanks to the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and the Skyliner, so availability at Disney resorts may be more limited than in years past.

As I outlined in this post about what to expect on a Disney World vacation after Galaxy’s Edge opens on August 29th, 2019, resorts that are convenient to Hollywood Studios will be particularly difficult to book.

It’s a great idea to book as soon as possible to get the best availability and your pick of resorts when you book Disney World packages 2020.

4) Get discounts automatically applied when they are released

free dining offer for disney world packages 2020

If Disney releases discounts on room-only reservations or packages (such as the uber popular Free Dining Package) for your travel dates, Siera will automatically apply the discount that gives you the best price, thereby lowering your balance due.

Trust me, Disney will NOT automatically lower your balance due when you book directly with them! You will have to monitor the discounts and call Disney to have a discount applied to your account if one becomes available. You can relax and know that Siera will apply the best discount available to your package.

We are interested in a Disney vacation for our whole family for 3-4 days in early June. There are 12 of us . We can’t pin-point a date just yet as One of my sons is in the marine corp and my other son will be enlisting in the Air Force next month and both will need to schedule their leave. But if there is any way we can start paying toward a package that would be great.

Wondering when I should book, if certain days to arrive and leave are cheaper than others with flights, ect. Wanting information on hotel (if it’s better to book a package or use the conference rate), flight, tickets, meal plan deals.

I’m looking to visit Disney for my birthday in January 2020. It’s just me. I have a disability and am on limited income. I’m trying to put aside a little each month. Any deals you can recommend? Thank you.

I am looking to visit Disney world for my son’ second in May of 2020. There will be 2 adults and 2 children. I would prefer payments arrangements with a down payment. Any good deals you can recommend ?

Hi Dominique! Your best bet would be to book something now with the $200 down payment and wait for the discounts to be released for May. This will likely happen in the first few months of 2020. The balance would then be adjusted and the final payment wouldn’t be due until 30 days out. I am looking to book a Disneyworld/Epcot vacation with just my hubby and I. Yes, we think Disney is romantic! I don’t know where to start, but we are thinking February 2020. Any ideas on where would be fun for us to stay? We need a romantic getaway!!!!

HI Angela! We went to Disney World on our honeymoon so I definitely agree LOL. I’d suggest Port Orleans French Quarter, Animal Kingdom Lodge, or Wilderness Lodge. I think they are all so lovely for a couples trip!

HI, I am looking to book a Disneyworld vacation with myself, my two kids, two of my girlfriends with their 4 kids to-gather. We are thinking of late in May or first week of June 2020, for 5 days. Any ideas on where would be fun for us to stay that will not be too expensive for 3 adults and 6 kids.
