Hi Leah. Thank you for all of your great tips. I was really hoping to find comments here from your readers. Have you used Priceline and have had great experiences? I'm seeing MANY bad reviews about Priceline (all bookings - hotel/flight/car rental).

Hi Robin! Wow, I have lost count of how many times I've used Priceline to book hotels at Disney World. I have never once had an issue with Priceline. My guess is the negative reviews stem from people not understanding how the Express Deals works, i.e. that you are booking a nonrefundable room and can't make any changes after booking. I actually prefer to book regular Disney resorts (not Express Deals) through Priceline as opposed to Disney because it is SO MUCH easier to cancel. Lately, I've had to call Disney to cancel a one-night hotel stay and stay on the phone for over an hour. Also, Priceline sometimes offers 10% off Disney's rack rate so you can book the same room for less! Email me with any questions - leah @ thebudgetmouse.com
