Annual Fee: $95

Earning Rates:

  • 5X points per dollar spent on travel purchased through Chase Travel(SM)
  • 3X points spent on online groceries and dining (including takeout)
  • 2X points on all other travel purchases
  • 1x points on all other eligible purchases

Welcome Offer:

My Favorite Perks

  • $50 Annual Hotel Credit
  • Primary rental car insurance (usually only provided by cards with a much higher annual fee)
  • Complimentary DashPass for minimum of one year (for $0 delivery fees on DoorDash)
  • Complimentary Instacart+ membership for six months plus $15 quarterly Instacart statement credits

Sample Redemptions

  • Southwest flights start at 3,800 points each way, so this bonus is worth up to 10 roundtrip domestic flights on Southwest
  • Redemptions at Hyatt hotels start at 3,500 points per night, so this bonus is worth up to 20 free nights at Hyatt hotels
  • Off-peak flights from the East Coast to Ireland on Aer Lingus start at 13,000 points each way, so this bonus is worth 3 roundtrip flights to Europe on Aer Lingus

  • Redeem points for 25% more value through Chase Travel(TM)
  • Transfer partner offer even more value (my favorites are Hyatt, Southwest, and JetBlue)
  • I use DoorDash & Instacart anyway so those benefits offer lots of value

  • Does not offer TSA PreCheck credit (some other cards at this price point offer this)
  • Made for travelers so if you don’t travel much it’s hard to get as much value from the annual fee
